The Academy is a place for exchange between science and business, politics and the public. This is made possible by its network of members, who are all outstanding researchers. They come from engineering and the applied sciences, but also the humanities and social sciences. They collaborate with external researchers on interdisciplinary projects, which are enriched by practical expertise from business and society. As an international academy, acatech aims to contribute to solutions for global challenges and to connect them with possibilities for creating value in Germany.
