FAU supports interested companies with recruiting as well as with marketing products and services. We are always pleased when sponsors and donors offer their support to the University, promoting Germany as a location for education.
Finding qualified personnel

Stellenwerk job portal
Are you looking for students to work for you or your company? Do you have entry-level vacancies? The “stellenwerk” job portal allows you to contact students – easily, quickly and straightforwardly.
You can post vacant internship opportunities, student trainee positions or permanent positions on the “stellenwerk” job portal. A basic advertisement on stellenwerk costs 79 euros and a highlighted premium advertisement costs 149 euros, each for a period of 30 days.

Publication of event notices
We are happy to advertise your company networking event or recruiting event free of charge to our students or graduates via the Career Service blog. Just send us a short text in Word with a link to your homepage to: career-service@fau.de.

Advertising at FAU
A poster in one of our buildings, an online banner on the website of FAU’s job portal, or an information stand on campus: We have the right spot for your advertising.
Billboard advertising
At selected locations on FAU’s campus, we offer poster frames in DIN A0 and CLP format (unlit) for advertising, recruiting or information about events: directly on campus, in an area that is otherwise free of advertising.

Campus promotion
Whether in University buildings or on campus, at an information point or by distributing flyers, the focus of on campus promotion is on the personal contact between companies and students.
For your on campus promotion, we have selected six locations on the university campus where students come to pass the time between lectures: the ideal spot for your information stand either in the FAU buildings or outside, as in the case of the Faculty of Engineering.
Please contact us if you are interested in distributing flyers or setting up an exclusive information stand on the FAU campus. Please note that on campus promotions require notice of at least 6 weeks.

FAU events
Advertise at an FAU event. Either at the new students’ welcome event or at an event run by our Career Service.
Welcome event for new students
During the first week of the winter semester, FAU welcomes its new Bachelor’s and Master’s students at a large fair for new students. It is usually attended by some 4,000 visitors. During the event, presentations are given by the University’s central institutions and student initiatives, snacks and drinks are provided free of charge and every visitor receives a much sought-after FAU shoulder bag that contains information about studying at FAU. At the new students’ welcome event, you can promote your company at your information point , focusing on either your products or on your company as an employer, or include a free gift in the FAU shoulder bags.

New students
In the winter semester, the School of Business, Economics and Society welcomes its new Bachelor’s and Master’s students. Companies can sponsor the study guide, set up an information stand or contribute something to the welcome package.
Graduation ceremony
In July and December, the School of Business, Economics and Society holds a graduation ceremony for its graduates. Companies can support the graduation ceremony as sponsors.

Mentoring program
During the mentoring program, company representatives take selected Bachelor’s students under their wing for one year.
“WiSo coach program” – the mentoring program for Master’s students
The “WiSo coach program” is a mentoring program \ for Master’s students at the School of Business, Economics and Society. Graduates and experts in the field act as mentors for Master’s students, passing on their (professional) know-how.
“Wie praktisch?!”
As part of the “Wie praktisch!” series offered by the Career Service at the School of Business, Economics and Society, companies offer practical seminars or workshops for students. The following offer is available for companies: Companies can get involved by offering seminars, workshops, or case studies.
Brown bag talk at lunchtime
Experts talk about their professional experience and their daily work. This gives students an insight into various professions, in a relaxed atmosphere.\ The brown bag talk at lunchtime lasts for approximately one hour over lunchtime and involves company representatives reporting on their practical experiences and their field of work.

Faculty Career Day
The Faculty career day offers an opportunity for interesting conversations between exhibitors and students at the stand as well as a comprehensive program covering topics such as starting practical legal training or a doctoral degree in law, in addition to presentations from law firms and companies. Law firms and companies can have an information stand on the day.

The job fair organized by the student association for mathematics/physics (Jobmesse JobMaP) in collaboration with the student association for chemistry/molecular science serves to establish contacts between students and companies and help students make initial contacts in the world of work.
