This page provides information on orientation events offered by International Affairs in collaboration with the faculties and other institutions at FAU for international students. Scroll down for faculty and subject-specific events.
Central welcome week for international students
International Affairs offers welcome weeks for international students at the beginning of the semester in order to provide assistance with legal formalities in Germany and with settling in at FAU. The program is open to all international students. If you have any questions on the program, please contact: welcome-students@fau.de.
The welcome weeks are held twice a semester:

February 24: Pre-Arrival Session for all international students. Useful information before starting to study at FAU in Germany.\ Time: 2 pm-4 pm (CET) via Zoom link\ Sign up here.\
March 4: Welcome Day for students taking part in the preparatory language course (FIT course). City tours available afterwards.\
April 2 to 10: Welcome Week for all international students. City tours available during the Easter weekend.
