Access to Erlangen Campus South during construction projects

Due to the major construction projects currently underway at Erlangen Campus South (North Bavarian High-Performance Computing Center (NHR) and the Chemikum (CHEM2)), Nikolaus-Fiebiger-Straße will be closed for through traffic and pedestrians for the whole of 2026.\ As far as we are aware at present, the bus stops Staudtstraße and Nikolaus-Fiebiger-Straße for the bus lines 20/280 will not be available during this time. A replacement bus stop will be provided at the stop Erlangen Sebaldussiedlung. From February 16, 2026 until provisionally December 13, 2026, bus line 20 will be diverted via Hartmannstraße, Sebaldusstraße and Erwin-Rommel-Straße. During the same time period, bus line 280 will be diverted via Kurt-Schumacher-Straße.\ Please check the VAG website for the current timetable.

The parking garages at Physikum/Biologikum and Chemikum (CHEM1) will remain accessible and open during the entire construction works.
