FAU is organized by various bodies and committees that give a clear structure to tasks, responsibilities and representation. These include the Executive Board, Senate and University Council, as well as the University Administration with its departments and working groups. University elections ensure the democratic participation of students and employees in deciding on the members of the Senate, Faculty Councils and Student Councils.
