Ensuring and developing the quality of teaching and studying is a key goal at FAU. The range and diversity of subjects is recognized as one of the University’s strategic strengths.

FAU lecturers and teaching staff can access a comprehensive range of further training through the Center for Continuing Education in University-Level Teaching (FBZHL) FAU supports its lecturers and teaching staff with numerous funding programs. The University also awards teaching prizes to recognize excellence in teaching.
