Wharton faculty are committed to teaching a global perspective in business practice. Our world-renowned business faculty teaches undergraduate, master’s, and PhD candidates.

• strong preparation in mathematics, including exposure to calculus in high school

Areas of Study

Concentrations

All students graduate from Wharton with a Bachelor of Science in economics; however, each student is required to choose a concentration featuring courses that explore a particular area of business in depth. Students can change their concentration at any time and can design an individualized concentration if they cannot find a standard one that aligns with their interests.

Coordinated Dual-Degree, Accelerated, and Specialized Programs

If you have focused academic interests, you can apply to programs that will enable you to earn more than one degree as you delve deeply into a specific area of interest.
