# If I report a combination of SAT and/or ACT test scores on my application, can I pick which ones are considered?

No, we will review all SAT and ACT test scores that have been provided. No preference is given to the SAT or ACT. If an applicant submits both tests, we will pay attention to the higher score from either test.

When possible, we suggest that students submit their entire testing history for both the ACT and SAT to provide more context and avoid inaccuracies. Applicants are welcome to self report their test scores in the Penn Applicant Portal.
