How does work study work?
Modified on Fri, 1 Aug, 2025 at 3:48 PM
If you receive a work-study grant in your financial aid package, you are eligible to apply for an on- or off-campus job via the listings posted by the Student Employment Office. Please note that your work-study funding is not applied to your student account. Instead, you will earn funding each week based on the number of hours you work. Your award represents the maximum amount you can earn during the academic year.

If you choose not to use your work-study award or are not able to work based on your schedule, you can elect to replace all or part of your work-study award with a loan.
