Welcome to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics!

We are delighted to welcome you to our dynamic and collaborative graduate program. Through a combination of coursework, laboratory rotations, and independent research, you will be well-prepared for a successful career in academia, industry, and related biomedical fields.

Throughout this exciting two-year journey, we are committed to supporting your growth as both a scientist and an educator. Our dedicated faculty will guide you in advancing your knowledge in key areas such as gene regulation, bioinformatics, epigenetics, biotechnology, metabolic disorders, and cancer. Additionally, we provide opportunities to explore and address fundamental biochemical and genetic questions, equipping you with essential technical skills and access to state-of-the-art Core Facilities.
