Request a Library Instruction Session
The Library Instruction Program aims to support AUB students in building their information literacy skills, or the “set of abilities requiring individuals to recognize when information is needed and to have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information” as defined by the Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education and the Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education.
Classes
- The Communication Skills Program: sessions are offered on how to locate, evaluate and use library resources for assignments or research. Reserve a session for your class.\ Book Now\

- Individual Instruction: Research and Instruction Services Librarians provide direct in-person research assistance tailored to the specific research needs of each user.\ Book Now\ \
Embed a Librarian in your Course
A librarian becomes the on-call information expert, who can prepare a Research Guide for the course and provide help on demand. Embed a librarian in your course now.\

Library Workshops
- Student Workshops are offered throughout the semester and are open to all. They provide hands-on training on research skills, citation tools, and training in specialized skills for graduate students.

Faculty- Special workshops assist faculty members in integrating library resources and research guides through assignments and other course materials.
