​​​​\ Prof. Dame Sally Mapstone, Principal & Vice-Chancellor of the University of St. Andrews (founded in 1413), delivered the 30th mentoring talk at AUB entitled, “The Importance of Having a Plan".\

​This mentoring talk was organized in partnership with the prestigious Angewandte Chemie. ​\

Prof. Mapstone was very impressed with the questions by the attendees, and she expressed her joy being invited to be a speaker in our mentoring talks series,

“I feel even more honored to have had this opportunity, and I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful questions that have been put to me: generous, intelligent, informed, and full of open optimism and that's what we should. Thank you very much for the opportunity; this has been the high point of my month so far. So, thank you."​\
