The mission of the Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut is to educate and train students and physicians to be ethical, highly competent, compassionate, socially responsible professionals dedicated to enriching medical research and scholarship globally, and to leading the advancement of health care delivery in Lebanon and the Middle East.

Vision

The vision of the Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut is to be the leading internationally accredited medical education and research institution in Lebanon and the Middle East through the delivery of educational and training programs responsive to the globally evolving needs in academic medicine and patient care.​​\ ​\
