​​​​​​Prof. Prashant Kamat from the University of Notre Dame delivered a mentoring talk entitled, "PhD & Beyond: Laying the Foundation for a Successful Career” via WebEx on Oct 8, 2020. In his talk, Prof. Kamat touched on some key elements of becoming a successful researcher and seeking a productive career path. In his own words, "It is important for researchers to decide what they would like to do early on and gain the expertise during the course of their PhD work and postdoctoral research. The only way to succeed is to pursue one's interest, capitalize the strengths and stay ahead of the competition".\
