## Student Development Programmes

​​UTP has been producing well-rounded graduates who are well received by the industry. Every year, 85% of the graduates are employed within 6 months after graduation. This well rounded attribute is garnered through various programmes and activities, i.e. Student Development Activities, Student Mobility Programmes and Technopreneuship Projects.

 

**​Funding for Student Development Activities/Events**

Yayasan UTP (YUTP) supports various extracurricular activities organised or participated by UTP students under the following categories:-\

- Academic
- Leadership
- Community
- Arts & Culture
- Sports

Students may apply for this funding by submitting the event proposal, approved event memo and [YUTP SDA ​Form​​​​](https://www.utp.edu.my/sites/Publishing/PublishingContent/YUTP/Yayasan%20UTP%20SDA%20Fund%20Request%20Form.pdf?d=w38e8ae32d4c5445eaf7fbd158abb6437&csf=1&e=YEUbjJ) to YUTP Secretariat at least two (2) months prior to the date of event.\

**Funding for Student Mobility Programmes**

YUTP also provides financial assistance to eligible students who wish to participate in active learning overseas to promote their competence and expand their global perspectives.

- Student Exchange Programme
- Student Industrial Internship Programme
- Research Attachment Programme
- Summer Programme/Special Education Trip

Students must obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in order to be eligible to apply for this assistance. Application must be made at [Mobility](https://www.utp.edu.my/Pages/Students/Mobility.aspx) Office, Centre for Student Development.

**Funding for Technopreneurship Projects**

The Technopreneurship initiative is implemented
to embed entrepreneurship values among UTP students and graduates. Students are
encouraged to harness their creativity, use their business acumen and bring
technological ideas and innovations to the business sphere with the financial
assistance from YUTP.

- TechnoSeed - RM3,000
