"The Integrated Engineering Department proudly congratulates Ts Dr Azlan Ahmad on receiving the Excellent in Teaching and Learning Award (Transformative Teaching) at the Quality Award 2024.

This recognition celebrates Dr Azlan’s innovative work in Reimagining the Engineering Team Project (ETP), a transformative approach that repositions ETP from a conventional academic requirement into an authentic, experience-driven learning journey. The initiative emphasises real-world problem framing, team-based accountability, and iterative execution, mirroring professional engineering practice.

Through this redesigned framework, students are challenged to navigate ambiguity, collaborate effectively, and translate ideas into functional solutions. They are developing not only technical competence, but also engineering judgement and professional mindset.
