TAZU helped me complete my studies at UTP
Muhammad Najmuddin was solely supported by his mother when he entered UTP. His mother had decided to work to support everyone in the family after years of being a housewife. With a salary of a tailor, his mother struggled to support all three children, including Najmuddin, and his brother who was already in third year at UTP.

Fatin Najihah almost gave up in her studies during her second year at UTP when she learned that her father had a major stroke and would take some time for recovery. It was a daunting moment for her family after finding out her father, a taxi driver, had to drive on his own to the hospital as it was suspected that his blood pressure was extremely high.\

Muhammad Saifullah Hassan, the youngest of seven siblings, was raised in a household where his father was a house builder, who retired while Saifullah was still in secondary school. The role was then taken over by his eldest sibling, who provided for their family from thereon.

Payment Method

There are three (3) methods of payment for zakat:

2. Payment by cash via Amil
We are welcome Muslim PETRONAS & UTP Staff, UTP Alumni & Parents of UTP Students to contribute to Tabung Amanah Zakat UTP (TAZU). Your meaningful contribution will go a long way in helping UTP Asnaf students to achive their dreams at UTP.
All Zakat payment are eligible for individual tax rebate under Income Tax Act 1967 Section 6A(3).
