Technology Research Excellence (TREx),
operating within the Research and Innovation (R&I) structure, serves as a
dedicated entity that coordinates and strengthens R&D initiatives in
alignment with UTP’s vision. A core function of TREx is to secure and manage research funds,
ensuring sustainability and purpose-driven impact across all research pursuits.

TREx is entrusted with overseeing and
facilitating R&D projects while championing innovation by building strong
collaborations with government bodies, industries, and academic institutions.
