# Mariel Mera Cázares

### Overview

Mariel got her B.A. in Archaeology at the National School of Anthropology and History and her M.A. in International History at the Center of Economic Research and Teaching in Mexico City. She has worked for the Mexican National Institute of Anthropology and History on salvage excavations and as part of the Templo Mayor Museum Department for the Protection of Cultural Assets. She collaborates with the Middle Eastern and North African Week in Mexico Organizing Committee.

Her research focuses on the production of archaeological knowledge, and museum collections construction.
