Laser Cutting: Laser cutting is a self-performed service. After completing required training users are added to our scheduling and access system.

3D Printing: After completing training users may request an access code to add our workgroup printers in our digital 3d printing system. Once our workgroup printers are added, users prepare and submit files virtually. A cost estimate is provided through the software and charges for completed prints are billed monthly to each individual’s bursar accounts.

CNC Router: CNC Routers are accessed via consultation with staff. Consultation appointments are available via our Bookings Page. Only qualified AAP research or coursework will be approved. Users should expect at least a two–three day lead time before actual use of the machine. Once you are 100% ready, staff will contact you to arrange a time for you to set up and supervise the machine while it runs.

Robotics: Use of our robotics equipment will be limited to students in qualified courses or conducting approved research, who have received robotics safety training, and have reviewed their project with staff. Please email Lawson Spencer at Lls97@cornell.edu with any questions about training and access to our Robotics equipment.
