# How to Submit Your Academic Evaluation
## Processing Time
**Checklist update processing times vary with application volume. Near deadlines, submitted materials may take up to two weeks to appear as “received” in your applicant portal.**
Transfer applicants are required to submit **one Academic Evaluation** from a college instructor who has taught you in a course. This evaluation provides insight into your academic performance and preparation for Cornell University.\

The Academic Evaluation must be submitted using one of the following methods:
- **(Preferred method)** Through the Common Application recommender invitation tool under **My Application > Program Materials > Fall Transfer Cornell University > Recommendations.**
- **(Second preferred method)** Via approved online document delivery services. Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions will accept Academic Evaluations sent through:
- Parchment
- SCOIR
- **(Alternate method)** By postal mail or delivery service in an envelope sealed by the instructor or institution, addressed to:
