Our Departments
The Department of Architecture is widely recognized as a leader in design education, research, and practice. Architecture students and faculty from around the world come to Cornell AAP to advance the field and make transformative impacts on the built environment. - ### Art
The study of art at Cornell AAP means embracing longstanding traditions in creative practice across mediums alongside emerging modes of critical inquiry, making, and expression. The art department offers world-class facilities for artists to teach, learn, exhibit, and explore. - ### Planning
City and Regional Planning department faculty and students comprise a community that applies planning practices and scholarship to concerns such as social and environmental justice, equity, climate change, transportation, housing, and development. - ### Real Estate
The Paul Rubacha Department of Real Estate is a multicollege department that combines expertise across Cornell AAP and the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, spanning development, finance, urban design and planning, adaptation and policy, among other timely topics for the industry. - ### Design Tech
Spanning five colleges at Cornell and administered by AAP, the Department of Design Tech is a multicollege, transdisciplinary initiative advancing innovation and collaboration in research and teaching across leading-edge design practices and emerging technologies.
