Apprenticeships offer employers a great opportunity to address skills gaps in their organisation. They provide a training framework for developing a new member of staff or upskilling a current employee.
For employees - apprenticeships provide the opportunity to learn new skills, study whilst working, and apply academic theory directly into the workplace. The training for some programmes can facilitate career progression with new accreditations - all while earning a salary, and receiving paid time off to study and attend teaching sessions.
The cost of apprenticeship training for employers can typically be met, in full or in part, through the apprenticeship levy - or supported government funding for non-levy payers.
Oxford Brookes offer a range of higher and degree apprenticeships directly, as well as in collaboration with our Associate College Partners (ACPs).
