Oxford Brookes’ Technology Transfer Office (TTO) works closely with academic researchers to translate their cutting-edge technologies and revolutionary ideas into products and services to make real-world socio-economic impact.

We foster strong partnerships with industry, investors and other research institutes to provide the best possible support and most efficient vehicle to enter the marketplace.

## For Researchers

Let the Technology Transfer Office accompany you on your commercialisation journey by providing coaching and discussion. We have deep expertise in intellectual property (IP) management and business development to help you build the right strategies to protect and commercialise your IP.

We help at every stage including:

- Identifying commercial opportunities
- IP protection
- Technology translation
- Transition to market
- Licence and spin-out
- Post-deal support
- Grant funding and external investments

You can find us in the Enterprise Centre at Headington Campus, where we’re always available to answer IP and business related queries, and to hear about new technologies.

## For Companies:

We work closely with companies to understand customer needs and prepare our technology offering for seamless integration into industry pathways and processes.

We identify value opportunities, which solve real-world problems, and verify our technology outputs through detailed IP and business model interrogation.

Oxford Brookes’ has a legacy of producing solutions in engineering, medicine and social sciences, and a wealth of ongoing progressive research.

Our research spans the whole spectrum of STEM and SHAPE fields including:

- Biomedical sciences
