Always here for you.
Find out more about Brookes Union
When you join Oxford Brookes University, you automatically become a member of our Students' Union, Brookes Union.
Run by students for students, we represent the student voice and provide free, independent advice on many issues. Our Student Reps work hard to represent your views and make sure your courses are the best they can be. Not only that, we support over 100 societies and run Fresher’s Week and a range of events every year. So you'll never be short of things to do and activities to get involved with.
We’re here for you so you can make the most of your time at Oxford Brookes.\
Belong
Societies are a great way to make new friends. Whether you want to pursue a passion you already have or try new things, we have over 100 student-led societies. And if you can’t find one for you, we can support you to start your own.\
Fighting your corner
Brookes Union Advice is a free, confidential service which is independent from Oxford Brookes University, and open to all Brookes students.
We provide support on housing matters, academic issues, student finance and more.
Repping for success
We support over 480 Student Reps who represent the views and concerns of students on your course to the University. They work to bring about positive change to your learning experience, making sure your degree programme is the best it can be.
We also support student networks, enabling students to campaign and build communities together.
Giving back
We help you raise money for charities you care about.
Last year, we raised over £14,000 for Movember, supported Homeless Oxfordshire and planted wildflower meadows on campus.
