Making a room booking

Student societies

Student societies must send their room booking request to Brookes Union.

Events must comply with the University's Code of Practice on Freedom of Speech policy. For external speakers, please complete the External Speaker Request Form (in ServiceNow).

Students can book rooms for purposes related to their courses via the Room Bookings Request Form. When submitting a request, students should provide the date, start and end times, required room capacity and room type as well as clearly stating the purpose of the booking. Students should also provide the contact details of a member of staff such as a module leader or academic advisor in the 'additional information' section of the form as this may be required to sign off the request.

Bookings made through the University Timetabling and Room Bookings Team require a minimum of 5 working days' notice.\

Bookings for Library group presentations and study facilities

Bookings for Library spaces can be made through the Library Group Space Bookings page. Please note that the Library spaces are not managed by the Timetabling and Room Bookings Team.
