Share your views on your university experience
Taking part in student experience surveys is a great way to tell us what you think about your time at university and create real change at Oxford Brookes University. Whether you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate, in your first year or final year, or a UK or international student, there’s a survey for you.
We listen to all of your feedback and suggestions, which help us deliver the best possible experience for our current and future students - from academic initiatives and campus improvements to mental health and wellbeing support. And, by taking part, you will often have a chance of winning a prize.
On this page you can find out which surveys you are eligible for, and when and how you can take part.

Your feedback makes a difference
Thanks to your feedback in surveys, together we have made positive changes to the student experience at Oxford Brookes, including:
- making sure every student has an Academic Advisor, with timetabled meeting invitations and clear guidelines on how they will support you during your time at Oxford Brookes
- advice and guidance on how to use artificial intelligence (AI) in your studies through a Moodle course and AI-themed events
- clearer information on assessment marking criteria and when to expect feedback. Our Assessment and Feedback Policy states that assessment criteria will be made clear to you and that feedback will normally be given within three weeks
- reduced waiting times for our Counselling Service. We have increased capacity and improved our processes, and the vast majority of low-risk students are now able to access the service via a triage telephone call within a week of returning assessment forms
- upgraded Wi-Fi in University-owned halls of residence, including 24/7 support. A major project is under way to upgrade Wi-Fi on Headington Campus
- working more closely with Brookes Union on its manifesto projects and enhancing student voice where we can
- improving access to, as well as the range of, e-books and journals in our libraries
- introducing an engagement and attendance process to support you in your studies
- signposting our Student Support Services more clearly, including mental health and wellbeing support.
