Programme description

The programme is aimed at applicants with higher legal education: master’s students, doctoral students, forensic scientists, teachers, forensic practitioners and anyone interested in modern achievements in forensic science and prospects for the development of science. Among the educators are leading forensic scientists at St Petersburg University and other universities, law enforcement practitioners and experts.

Advantages of the programme

The programme of the school "Current Issues in Forensic Science" covers theoretical and practical issues in investigating crimes of past years, workshops of practicing forensic scientists and experts, analysis of educational cases on the problems of solving and investigating crimes of past years. The Summer School will also include a round table to discuss a comprehensive approach to preventing criminal suicides, with the participation of leading specialists from St Petersburg in the field of forensic science, psychology, psychiatry, and sociology.
