Programme description
The bachelor’s programme "Russian Philology (Russian Language and Literature)" is designed to develop in students knowledge of the theory and methodology of the Russian language and Russian literature. Graduates will acquire a fundamental knowledge of: the history and theory of literature; the history and current state of Russian; and state-of-the-art research methods. They will also have the skills of philological text analysis, and learn how to apply their knowledge in practical activities. They will be capable of: teaching in secondary education institutions; carrying out research activities in scientific institutions and libraries; and conducting editorial and publishing activities. The knowledge and skills acquired will enable graduates to address a wide range of tasks in mass communication.
