Programme description

The master’s programme ‘Public Relations as Part of International Relations’ focuses on training experts in international PR. Graduates of the programme have up-to-date knowledge of international relations and public relations issues. They are also capable of conducting professional activities in Russian and English. During training, students master skills necessary for their professional activity in public relations at the international level.

The research within this programme is aimed at: identifying the role and place of PR technologies in shaping the image of contemporary states, international organisations and political leaders; and studying political campaigns carried out at the international level.

Among the research targets are also: anti-crisis PR; international brand-consulting; and methods and techniques of organising international events. The programme is designed to train experts who are capable of carrying out organisational, information and communication, expert and analytical, educational, advisory and research activities demanded by: government agencies; public and commercial institutions; and non-profit organisations that focus on studying the role and place of PR technologies in the field of international relations.
