Programme description
- The master’s programme "Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication in Business and Management" is designed to train highly qualified experts with an in-depth knowledge of English and a second foreign language. They will feel familiar with corporate management in the context of the global integration of business processes
- The programme offers a unique opportunity to: receive intensive language training in the field of business and management; acquire comprehensive knowledge of intercultural business communication; master skills in translation and consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in the business field. This will significantly increase the competitive advantages of programme graduates and enable them to meet the highest demands in the labour market
- Graduates will be able to successfully apply their acquired skills in the following areas of research, applied and industrial activities: consecutive interpreting; translation of contract documents; communication in management and business; use of computer-assisted translation systems; their second foreign language in business; business writing; annotating; abstracting; intercultural communication in crisis situations; and simultaneous interpreting
- The programme is aimed at: developing in students professional communication skills in business and management; and providing an in-depth study of the language used in these fields, as well as the principles and methods of interpreting and translation and intercultural business communication
