Programme description

- The master’s programme ‘Innovative Technology in Translation: French/ Spanish/Italian (in French/ Spanish/Italian)’ is aimed at training translators/interpreters possessing the skills of: liaison interpreting and bilingual translation of stylistically and thematically different texts from Russian into a foreign language and from a foreign language into Russian (translation, and consecutive and simultaneous interpreting); and using cutting-edge innovative technology in translation
- The programme is aimed at training graduates who will be translators/interpreters of general and specific topics. They will be ready to conduct professional, practical, organisational and managerial activities in the translation market using cutting-edge innovative technologies that are actively used in this field
- The programme targets primarily graduates from bachelor’s programmes in languages and humanities. However, it is also suitable for all those who speak foreign languages at a level sufficient for translation and interpreting
- To be enrolled in this academic programme, applicants must have: an excellent command of their native language; an excellent command in the first foreign language (C1-C2 CEFR); the level of English proficiency B2 CEFR or higher; and a good background knowledge of culture, history and the civilisation of the target language countries
