# Global Journalism and Artificial Intelligence in Chinese

Course description

This course introduces students to the core concepts of globalisation and its impact on journalism, focusing on:

- Understanding the mission of journalism
- Defining the boundaries between press freedom and journalistic responsibility
- Exploring professional codes of journalism
- Examining legal and ethical frameworks for media in different countries
- Analysing changes in journalistic culture under globalisation
- Identifying factors shaping the global news agenda

- Exploration of AI development drivers, applications, and key growth areas
- Practical training in using AI tools for journalistic tasks
- Case studies of global media practices employing AI in journalism
- Ethical and legal considerations of AI in journalism
