Visiting Scholar Programme
Open call for Spring semester 2026/ Autumn semester 2026
St. Petersburg State University has launched the selection process to award visiting professorships to eligible candidates from non-Russian universities and research institutions under the SPbU Visiting Professor Programme for the Spring semester 2025 / Autumn semester 2026. The Spring semester runs from early February 2026 to the end of May 2026. The Autumn semester runs from September 2026 to the end of December 2026. We invite applications from foreign universities interested in teaching official courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
In order to apply for the SPbU Visiting Professors programme, please follow the steps below:
- Eligibility criteria
- PhD degree
- Academic teaching experience in the field of the proposed courses, or in a discipline related to the proposed courses
- Professional experience, publications and research in relation to the specific content of the proposed courses
- Experience teaching courses using the English language
- Preferable H-index 10

Social Security Law of Russia and PRC
| Brief description: | This lecture will examine the fundamental principles and distinctive features of social security laws in Russia and the People's Republic of China, delving into the mechanisms of social protection, benefits, and rights granted to employees in both jurisdictions. |
