Programme description

The bachelor’s programme ‘Real Property Cadastre: Assessment and Information Support’ is designed to train specialists in: state cadastral registration of real estate; the formation of land lots and other real estate; and cadastral valuation and registration of real estate. The programme provides an opportunity to receive a broad fundamental university education in Earth sciences, as well as in informational, geoinformational, economic and legal support of the real estate cadastre. The programme is unique in that it trains students who are capable of: collecting, processing, analysing, synthesising, evaluating, storing, and transmitting various spatial data. They will use information technology to create a single information space for property management at the state and municipal levels when planning and organising land protection, and cadastral valuation and registration of real estate.

Students prepare for professional activities during: their practical training at the geodetic training grounds of St Petersburg University; and internships at partner organisations.
