The Council of Young Scientists of St. Petersburg University is a collective advisory body comprising plenipotentiaries from young scientists of the University. This body contributes to the formation and implementation of the University youth policy. The Council aims to assist young scientists in their professional advancement, boost their community engagement, concentrate their efforts on priority research tasks, promote their innovative activity, effectively advocate new scientific achievements, encourage young people into scientific research and protect their interests.
The focus of the Council is
- to coordinate the work of minor University Councils of Young Scientists;
- to support the University administration in formation and implementation of the youth research policy;
- to promote cooperation between young scientists from different fields of knowledge to facilitate interdisciplinary research
