# Documents Required

### Documents required to apply for the Olympiad in 2026

- Personal application from the applicant to the Rector of St. Petersburg State University (Can be found in Applicant's [Personal Account](https://application.spbu.ru/rus-sign-in); you can apply for no more than 3 subjects)
- Applicant's consent to the processing, transfer and storage of personal data ([download form](https://abiturient.spbu.ru/upload/medialibrary/60d/u7lfybomexbii3xe13eeb73vjhfigw0a/agreement_form_ru.docx))
- Copy of a document confirming the applicant's identity and recognised as such by the Russian Federation
- Translation of the applicant's identity document into Russian, certified in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation
- Copy of student visa (if available)
- Educational certificate and its supplements, duly formalized
- Certificate of recognition of foreign education in the Russian Federation (if available)
- Translation into Russian of the educational certificate and its supplements
- Portfolio submission for the Olympiad

According to clauses 2.3.4.1.- 2.3.4.3 of the Olympiad regulations, if an applicant does not have their final education certificate at the time of application, they may submit a transcript from their educational institution for the last three completed semesters (for the bachelor's level Olympiad) or for all completed study periods (for the higher level Olympiads).

Once the official final education certificate is obtained, its digital copy with a Russian translation must be uploaded to the applicant's Personal Account.

#### Olympiad winners must submit the following documents by March 20, 2026:

- [Application form](https://abiturient.spbu.ru/medialibrary/ru/2024/ino/anketa_form.pdf), completed in block letters, with a color photograph attached
- Medical certificate confirming absence of contraindications for studies, including confirmation of being free from all types of hepatitis and tuberculosis
- Medical certificate confirming absence of HIV infection
- Results of mandatory preliminary medical examinations (for participants of the Medicine and Dentistry subjects in the Olympiad)
- Photograph 3×4 cm

All documents must be submitted in digital form as clearly legible digital images (copies) in Russian or with translations into Russian. Texts translated into Russian must be notarized or certified by authorised institutions in accordance with the legislation and international treaties of the Russian Federation.

**NB: the programmes that marked as Russian and English are taught mainly in Russian. All the documents issued in a foreign language must be translated into Russian.**

### Documents required to apply on fee-paying basis

The applicant's [Personal Account](http://application.spbu.ru/) requires digital copies of original documents. All documents issued in a foreign language must be accompanied by a certified Russian translation.

- Signed application for admission to the educational program (completed during registration in the [Personal Account](http://application.spbu.ru/))
- Applicant's [consent](https://abiturient.spbu.ru/medialibrary/ru/2025/ino/soglasie_ino_contr_2025.docx) to personal data processing, transfer and storage
- Properly formalized educational certificate and its supplements
- Copy of identity document
- Photograph 3×4 cm
- Visa support invitation request (if required)
- Portfolio competition materials
