Programme description
- The degree programme "Business Information Analysis" in the main field of study 38.04.05 ‘Business Informatics’ combines a classical economics education with applied knowledge of cutting-edge information technology and business practices
- The programme is designed to train highly qualified business analysts and managers dealing with the problems of strategic and operational management of businesses. This is on the basis of modern and prospective lines of development of mathematical and instrumental methods. The programme is also aimed at training researchers in the field of business informatics who meet the requirements of the modern information society and keep abreast with the development trends of the innovative economy
Our master’s programme in the main field of study Business Informatics at St Petersburg University is designed to train specialists capable of:
- conducting business analysis of a company
- designing an organisation’s IT infrastructure development strategy and managing its implementation
- planning, forecasting and decision-making using modern methods of data collection, processing and analysis; applying systems analysis and modelling methods to analyse the architecture of an enterprise; and designing a strategy for enterprise architecture development
- The programme is well suited for applicants who want to deepen their knowledge and competencies in business informatics and obtain the versatile skills needed by high calibre business analysts
