Programme description
- The bachelor’s programme ‘Physical Training and Sport’ is unique in the present-day educational space. The academic programme is unique in: its interdisciplinary approach to the study of coaching, teaching and health-forming activities; and the involvement of well-known athletes, coaches and representatives of sports federations in the teaching of practical courses
- Graduates of the programme will acquire practical skills and knowledge in the field of: sports selection of talented children and young people; application of sports and pedagogical methods for active formation of an individual’s health; promotion of healthy lifestyle principles and values of physical culture; and anti-doping support
- The programme is designed to train bachelor’s students who will: be competitive in the labour market; have the requisite universal and professional competences; be fully functional in the professional fields of education, science, physical culture and sport; be ready for career development, and social and professional mobility; and have the knowledge and requisite skills in accordance with their area of study
- The academic programme has been designed taking into account professional standards and the views of employers (professional communities) on the compliance of graduates' competencies and job functions in their professional activities
