Programme description

The master’s programme ‘Cultural Linguistics of Great Britain and the USA’ is designed for graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics/Philology, or a related subject in the social sciences or humanities. The programme provides students with knowledge of: the national distinctness of the English language; historical, geopolitical and cultural features of Great Britain and the USA; and behavioural, gender, status and age characteristics of speech activity of their citizens as representatives of culture of the English-speaking society.
