# How to Apply for AUC Residences?

Whether you are a freshman student, a graduate student, a transfer student or attending AUC as an exchange student, we at the University Residences provide a variety of living options that fit your style of living.

#### **First-Time Freshmen**

If you are a first-time freshman, you will enjoy living at the on-campus residence and be part of our First-Year Residential Experience Program (FYRE). You will be receiving the support that will help you transition and cope with the challenges you will encounter throughout your University life.

#### **Current AUC Student, New Graduate, Exchange, or Transfer Student**

Whether you are a continuing resident or a current student at AUC wishing to experience the vibrant life at the University Residences, stay tuned for an email announcing the Housing Application launch dates. Living at the University Residences is the best choice for those of you looking for convenient living options in a diverse community.

The **steps** below will guide you through the process of submitting your application for accommodation at the University Residences:

| First Semester Student | 1. Secure your final admission to AUC to be able to create your email account [here](https://signup.aucegypt.edu/EmailProvisioning/index.aspx) (e.g. name@aucegypt.edu). 2. Activate your AUC email. 3. Use your username and password to login to [**StarRez Portal**](https://aucegypt.starrezhousing.com/StarRezPortal/F84E2094/1/1/Home-Home?UrlToken=64BBD855). 4. Click on “Login” to access and proceed with your application, room selection and contract signature. |

**Important Note:** Closer to the start of the semester, all booked residents will receive an email from the Office of Residential Life with more details on move-in procedures, guiding you through the final housing requirements, and any additional information in preparation for your journey at the University Residences.
