Prior to being granted full admission to AUC graduate departments, students must demonstrate proficiency in English that is adequate for advanced graduate studies. English placement is determined by the students' scores on the TOEFL and/or IELTS. Incoming graduate students who must strengthen their English proficiency to ensure success in their studies may be placed in one of the following AEG courses:

### Computer Literacy

Students are expected to have basic computer skills before beginning their ELI courses.
