The Summer@AUC Internship is a structured experiential learning program designed for high school and undergraduate students aged 16 and above. The internship offers selected participants the opportunity to engage in professional, academic, and organizational activities that support the Summer@AUC program. Interns, after completing their training program, will contribute to classroom facilitation, assist in event coordination, and provide logistical support, gaining practical insight into academic operations.

The training program includes an initial two-hour orientation session introducing participants to the University environment, program objectives, and expected standards of conduct. Each intern cohort participates in six hours of interactive workshops per week, delivered across two days, focusing on leadership, teamwork, communication, professionalism, and digital etiquette. The internship is designed to foster transferable skills, enhance career readiness, and expose students to future academic and professional pathways.

Interns are admitted on a rolling basis and grouped into weekly cohorts. Upon completion of all assigned responsibilities and a final reflection and/or group assignment(s), participants receive a certificate of recognition/participation. The program concludes with an informal celebration event acknowledging intern contributions.

The Summer@AUC Internship gives high school and undergraduate students the chance to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant academic setting. You’ll build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while exploring potential academic and career paths. Interns take part in real projects, work closely with supportive mentors, and help create an exciting summer experience for everyone involved. It’s a great way to learn, grow, and make your summer count!

Become a member of the dynamic team that supports Summer@AUC and gain valuable professional experience as a summer intern. This bootcamp offers high school and undergraduate students a unique internship opportunity that integrates career preparation and education in one exciting summer experience. As a Summer@AUC intern, you will collaborate with Summer@AUC faculty and staff, assist in organizing program activities and events, contribute to classroom support, and contribute to bringing about an impactful and enjoyable Summer@AUC journey for all participants.
