[### Social Determinants of Health and Health Equity

This section focuses mainly on examining issues related to various conditions “in which people are born, grow, live, work and age" placing these conditions within multilevel intermediate and structural drivers. Population in conflict-affected fragile states commonly experience high levels of ill-health, injuries and fatalities. The fragile situations in these states can put significant pressure on the health systems and aggravate inequities.
