The **Faculty Research Pitch Competition** encourages faculty members to present their research in a clear and engaging manner to a non-specialist audience. In **three** minutes, participants must convey the **impact, innovation, and relevance** of their research by addressing **three key questions:**

1. What is the goal of the research study?
2. What problem does the research aim to contribute toward understanding or solving?
3. What area of knowledge does the study help us understand better?

### **Activity Objective**

The competition emphasizes effective communication of complex ideas in a concise and accessible format, showcasing the real-world significance of academic research **without the use of presentation tools or reading from notes**. Participants must engage the non-specialist audience with clear and compelling delivery, relying solely on their spoken presentation to convey the depth and importance of their work. This approach highlights the variety of research being conducted throughout the university. 

### **Who Can Participate?**

Only current AUC faculty (full-time or adjunct) are eligible to participate.

### **Who Can Attend?**

Anyone can attend the competition as part of the audience.

### Awards

- First place prize: EGP 20,000
- Second place prize: EGP 15,000
- Third place prize: EGP 10,000
