At AUC, we actively encourage applications from individuals with disabilities, demonstrating our deep commitment to diversity, inclusion and accessibility in the workplace. We value unique talents and are dedicated to providing the necessary support and accommodations to thrive.
To further support employees with disabilities, AUC launched a new mentorship and development program designed to offer job up-skilling, communication skills development and English language proficiency training as needed.
Program Details
A one-year program that offers candidates the chance to gain experience across various functions within the AUC, as well as developing their technical and communication skills.
Objectives
- Promote diversity and inclusivity within the AUC community by providing opportunities for people with disabilities in the workforce
- Equip participants with the necessary skills and tools to succeed not only within AUC workforce but also in other organizations in the country.
- Establish partnerships with ministries and non-governmental organizations to upskill and offer on-the-job training for people with disabilities.
Requirements
Experience: Flexible requirements based on the specific job or professional field\ Education: University graduates who are eager to learn and develop their skills\ Language: Good knowledge of Arabic and English
The Program in a Year
- 40+people with disabilities are integral contributors to AUC’s workforce, some of whom have received training as part of the program.
- More than 13 offices across the University now include PWD team members as part of their staff.
- Participants are offered comprehensive development programs, including English language, computer skills, and soft skills.

Strategic partnerships with Helm and the Ministry of Labor strengthen the ability to source and support qualified candidates.
