| ...when travelling by train... | ... take the streetcar from the Central Railway Station, Hauptbahnhof, (Lines 5 or 6 direction Zahringen / Reutebachgasse) until the stop Tennenbacher Straße (fourth stop). Across the street you will see the big red building [Herdergebäude](https://www.biom.uni-freiburg.de/info/herderbau.jpg). The entrance is on the right side of the building. You will find us in the 3rd floor... |
| ...coming by car from the A5 ... | ... leave the motorway at the Freiburg-Mitte exit and then take the B31 towards Freiburg / Donaueschingen direction Central Railway Station (Haupbanhof). Follow the Schnewlinstrasse, Bismarck Avenue and later Stefan-Meier-Straße towards Hauptbahnhof /Behördenzentrum Nord. At the Tennenbacherstraße  intersection (traffic light) turn right. After about 300 m you will see the big red building [Herdergebäude](https://www.biom.uni-freiburg.de/info/herderbau.jpg) on the right side. The long-term parking options in the area are ,unfortunately, limited. Please inform us in advance about your arrival by phone. We can reserve a parking space in the courtyard or next to the building (parking permit required). |
| ...coming by car from the Black Forest... | ... drive the B 31 towards A 5 direction to the Hauptbahnhof exit. Folow the  Schnewlinstraße, Bismarckallee and later Stefan-Meier-Straße towards Hauptbahnhof / Behördenzentrum Nord. Continue as described above |
