The Graduate Centre (GraCe) advises those interested in doctoral studies and doctoral candidates at the University of Freiburg on funding opportunities in the following areas:

There are many options when it comes to financing the doctoral period: The most common are employment as a research assistant at the university, funding through a structured doctoral program, a doctoral scholarship, or an external source of funding.

We will be happy to advise you on which of these options best suits your personal situation and your project. In addition, we will be happy to advise you on the specific search for suitable scholarship providers: Which scholarships can you apply for? What requirements must be met and what pitfalls should you be aware of?

*Feel free to contact us*!

You can make a personal appointment with us in person or online, or get advice (initially) via email. To arrange a consultation appointment, please write an email with the questions you would like to discuss to aleksandra.pojda@zv.uni-freiburg.de.\ \ Doctoral candidates of medicine please contact the doctoral office of the Faculty of Medicine.
