Eligibility to Apply:

1. NCKU is responsible only for the Bachelor's Degree Direct Admission Program for Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, and Macau students. Applicants seeking admission to Master's or Doctoral programs should apply through the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students.
2. Please confirm your status as an Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macau, or other foreign Chinese student.

◆Overseas Chinese Students

1. Students who were born overseas and have resided continuously overseas up to the time of application, or who have recently resided overseas for more than six consecutive years. (Applicants to the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, or Chinese Medicine must have resided overseas for more than eight consecutive years.)

2. Students of Chinese descent who hold permanent or long-term residence permits in their country of residence.

*The term "overseas" refers to countries or regions other than Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

◆Hong Kong and Macau students

1. Students who have recently resided abroad for more than six consecutive years.(Applicants to the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, or Chinese Medicine must have resided abroad for more than eight consecutive years.)

2. Residents of Hong Kong or Macau who hold permanent resident status and do not possess foreign passports.

*The term "abroad" refers to countries or regions other than Taiwan.

◆Chinese Students with Foreign Nationality from Hong Kong and Macau

1. Students of Chinese descent who have recently resided in Hong Kong, Macau, or overseas for more than six consecutive years.

2. Applicants who hold foreign nationality and have permanent resident status in Hong Kong or Macau.

3. Applicants who do not have household registration in Taiwan.
