Case Western Reserve University 2+2 Dual Degree Program

Introduction to Case Western Reserve University (CWRU)

It is a research-oriented private comprehensive university with approximately 5,100 undergraduate students. The school's disciplines include humanities, arts, engineering, natural sciences, social sciences, nursing and management and other fields

Introduction of 2+2 Double Bachelor and Dual Degree Program

Students need to apply for study in the corresponding department of CWRU during their sophomore year, and those who pass will go to CWRU to finish their studies for junior and senior year. Through the agreement for credits waiving by the corresponding departments of the two schools, if everything went smooth, the students can meet the graduation courses and credit requirements of the departments of the two schools in 4 years, and the students will obtain bachelor degrees from National Cheng Kung University and Case Western Reserve University respectively. Due to the high degree of curriculum compatibility required for dual-degree cooperation, the students going for the 2+2 dual-degree program between our school and Case Western Reserve University in the United States is mainly from the Department of Chemical Engineering, and other fields consultation and assistance are not yet available in the short term.

Qualification:

1. Second-year or third-year students of our university department\
2. TOEFL scores must meet the requirement, SAT scores, high school graduation certificates, etc.

Introduction to Temple-NCKU 3+2 Dual Degree Program

Students participating in this DBMD (Dual Bachelor's-Master's Degree Program) are expected to obtain a bachelor's degree from National Cheng Kung University and a master's degree from Temple University in the United States within 5 years. This program combines a three-year bachelor's program at National Cheng Kung University and a two-year bachelor's and master's program at Temple University. Temple University is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, eastern United States, the fifth largest city in the United States.

【Bridging Degree】: KTH Master's Degree Program (Programme)。

【KTH Language Interview】Applicants are required to provide TOEFL or IELTS test scores (TOEIC scores are not applicable), and must meet the requirements of TOEFL 90 with writing 20, IELTS 6,5 with no band under 5,5. Those whose language test scores do not meet the standard can register to participate in the English interview held by KTH during the application period (usually in November or December). And provide the school's student case application consultation. It has not yet been confirmed whether this issue will take place.

【Learning Prospects】The two universities established this 4+2 dual-degree program cooperation, so that NCKU students can apply for the KTH master's program. They can have KTH professors and KTH International Office to provide consultation and assistance, and the application cases are different from KTH's annual acceptance. In the application stage, if the IELTS or TOEFL scores are not up to standard, the NCKU students can get the opportunity for a language interview. This 4+2 dual degree program is very suitable for students who are interested in studying for a master's or doctoral advanced degree in Europe and Sweden. In addition to the application for the master's program, there will be special counseling, and during the master's program, you can actively evaluate the application for a doctoral degree in Sweden. According to Sweden's higher education policy, applicants for doctoral degree admission, that is, doctoral students, are guaranteed a monthly salary as stipulated by the government. Those who eventually obtain a doctoral degree can also stay in Sweden and continue to develop doctoral grades in academic institutions or industries and employment opportunities.
